5.2gm,Mighty Midget “GOLD” LINE motors
The 5.2gm motors feature a 3mm stack and come in three different windings. Two of the windings are optimized for single cell operation keeping duration in mind, along with power. They can be used to power aerobatic planes in the range of 40-60gms, or slowfliers of up to 80gms. The third wind is a 20T two cell wind that replaces our previous 10/6/20T Double whopper motor. A common feature of all the Gold line motors is that the bell and shaft assembly come out entirely when pulled. The magnetic field strength is enough to prevent the bell from coming out during normal puller mode use. Another advantage with these motors is that the prop can be pressed on the shaft easily by removing the bell/shaft assembly and then just slipping it back in.
Specifications:
Mighty Midget 13/3/14– This is the colder of the two winds offered and is optimized for the FR/AW 130’s or 220-250mahr Lipoly cells when propped with the GWS 5*3 prop.
( Measurements at 3.5V ):
PROP | AMPS | THRUST | RPM |
GWS 5*3 | 1.3 | 43g | 6990 |
GWS 6*3 | 1.67 | 50g | 5880 |
( Measurements at 7.0V ):
PROP | AMPS | THRUST | RPM |
GWS 3*2 | 1.43 | 56g | – |
GWS 4*2.5 | 2.22 | 88g | – |
Mighty Midget 13/3/12– This hotter wind has been optimized for the FR/AW 220-250mahr cell when propped with a GWS 5*3, or 6*3 prop.
(Measurements at 3.5V )
PROP | AMPS | THRUST | RPM |
GWS 5*3 | 1.77 | 51.5g | 7720 |
GWS 5*3 | 2.29 | 61.3g | 6450 |
Mighty Midget 13/3/20– This Two cell wind is a direct replacement for our 10/6/20T Double whopper. Like the 10/6/20T Double whopper, best cells for Light weight 3D would be the FR, or the AW 130mah Lipos, and for larger heavier planes, cells in the 220-250mah range would work well. Prop selection would be in the range of a GWS 4*2.5, to 6*3, depending on the plane. Recommended for light weight 3D would be a 5*3 GWS prop.
(Measurements at 7.0V )
PROP | AMPS | THRUST | RPM |
GWS 5*3 | 1.3 | 67g | – |
GWS 6*3 | 1.5 | 78g | – |
